As 2019 draws to a close, it’s a great time to look ahead at the marketing trends set to shape 2020.
While technologies such as AI and data-driven marketing will continue to advance at lightning speed, Simone Moreau-Rodgers says that 2020 will be the year of the consumer.
“Artificial intelligence, the internet of things, robotics, and big data are all shifting the way we do business,” says Moreau-Rodgers, who teaches marketing fundamentals and marketing strategy in the new Professional Certificate in Marketing Management at Western Continuing Studies.
“But the biggest shift in marketing is the increased focus on the customer experience.”
