Shannon Biss, Fundraising Consultant - New business copywriting

Shannon Biss spent more than two decades raising funds for large non-profits, including universities and hospitals. In 2022 she decided to fulfill her dream of starting her own business as an independent fundraising professional.

Her challenge? Explaining her services, and how she was different from a traditional fundraising consultant.

Shannon asked me to help clarify her message, strengthen her value proposition, and highlight her professional, collaborative, and hands-on approach to raising money for worthwhile organizations.

Copywriting Services Provided

This was a 3-page SEO copywriting project for an independent fundraising consultant based in southwestern Ontario. The content needed to position Sharon as an experienced fundraising professional, clearly explain her services, and how non-profits can benefit from working with her.

Outcomes Achieved

Working with Shannon, we created content that showcased her professionalism and warm personality.

The Shannon Biss website went live in July, 2023.

"This is great - thanks so much! If anyone asks about copywriting, I will definitely refer them to you!" ~ Shannon Biss
