King's University College - Media Release

The School of Social Work at King’s University College offers students hands-on experience through partnerships with more than 300 social service agencies.

This winter, the School launched an innovative program with The Salvation Army London Centre of Hope to offer free counselling services to people in need.

King’s University College was looking for a quick turnaround on a joint press release with the Salvation Army to promote the new program. With the College's in-house communications team already working at capacity, they asked me to help out.

Copywriting Services Provided
Working with King’s University College and The Salvation Army London Centre of Hope, I wrote a one-page media release to help promote the newly-created King’s Community Support Centre.

Outcomes Achieved
The release was approved and distributed by both organizations. It generated media interest in London and beyond and was published online in the King’s University College newsroom.
