Grant Gilvesy knows a thing or two about renovating homes in London's old north neighbourhood. As the owner of Grant Gilvesy Design
and In Bloom Designscapes, he's brought his distinctive vision to some of the area's most prestigious properties. He's also called the neighbourhood home for almost a decade. When a stately three-storey home on his favourite street came on the market it was an opportunity he didn't want to miss.
Built in 1890, the 2,800 sq. ft. home was the original farmhouse to the area. It had great bones, but hadn't been updated since the early 1990s. "It needed some love," Grant says.
He took possession in May 2019 and, with the help of Fisher Design & Drafting Services and Green Door Construction, began a complete restoration of the property.
